Our products have been validated and approved by Vestas Wind Systems and Siemens Gamesa known to set the highest of standards in the wind turbine industry.

The ultra-high-performance grout products in our portfolio all have unique market-leading properties in density and durability. On top, we have manufactured customized products with unique product property designs.

In our laboratory we have developed the first-ever UHPC with properties to capture carbon dioxide and industrial waste making future wind turbine foundations greener and more sustainable. The patent for this revolutionary UHPC-grout is being processed.

Highest achievable strength classifications

Wind turbine installation demands for advanced strength qualities of the foundation grouting material. Time is a crucial factor as anchor bolts of the wind turbine tower must be pre-stressed and weather conditions may disrupt the construction process. Hence early strength development of the grouting material is paramount.

The compressive strength of Y-MatTec ultra-high-performance concrete grout material increases with +115% from Day 1 (>65 MPa) to Day 56 (>135 MPa). Our UHPC-products have superior strength qualities with highest achievable classifications (c100/115).

Superior fatigue resistance

Reliability is of utmost importance. A non-operational wind turbine is an accident unfolding: A financial loss. To optimize in-service operation the foundation grouting material must have high fatigue resistance to decades of cyclic loading as well as being resistant to punishing influence from extreme weather and climate.

Y-MatTecs UHPC-products have demonstrated superior fatigue resistance and a relatively low heat development. In laboratory tests our grout materials outperforms the requirements in CEB-FIB Model Code 90 at all conditions. Furthermore Y-MatTec UHPC-products matches the prediction according to fi-b Model Code 2010 measuring number of cycles to failure under cyclic loading.

High early strength

Y-MatTec ultra-high-performance concrete grout material have extreme flow properties enabling to grout narrow constrictions with very low water-cement ratio. The unparalleled properties of our products are available at all weather conditions and temperatures with high early strength with 24 hours expansion more than 0,1%.

Application thickness from 25mm to 600mm.
